The South Texas Stories podcast is back for Season 3! This season, we have all sorts of wonderful stories about the history and culture of South Texas including baseball, hurricanes, black gold, first generation Americans, first generation college students, tacos, and more!

In this episode, you will hear firsthand expirences of Michael Diaz, a Del Rio native and Musuem Director at the Whitehead Memorial Musem. Michael's expirences paints a picture of the horrors of the flood as well as highlight the comradery expirenced by himself and the citizens in his hometown.
