On this episode we start the new school year talking about the good and sometimes Christian teachers who had influences on our lives. Roger talks about his own experience as a Christian teacher in a public high school. Richard has many teachers to thank, and we'd both like to thank Grace Place Church for recognizing and praying for our teachers in service last Sunday.

We should pray for and love on our pastors, but we shouldn't worship the ground they walk on. They are people just like us, and when they are led astray it is very bad for the church. Always forgive, but remember to pray and be a Berean.

This week Richard and Roger visit a local Christian media store for some hands-on discussion about what is usually sold there and whether or not it is utter heresy or just plain silly. Be careful what you buy in the local store, brothers and sisters. It could be leading you down a dark path even if it makes you feel good inside.

As two evangelical Christians we listen to a lot of Christian music and watch (or at least try to watch) Christian movies. The problems, as we will discuss in our podcast, is not the message necessarily, but the quality of the media. Join us as we discuss what we wish Christian media could be and what areas in which we feel it is failing to do its job.

This week there was much to talk about regarding the state of immigration in this country. Today we talk about what the Christian response should be to immigration and also how we have heard immigrants discussed by people claiming to be Christ followers.

In this episode we discuss what might be driving evangelical's support of Donald Trump even though he doesn't really exhibit Christian values. How is support of Trump hurting the witness of Christians in the long run, because after all, he won't be president forever. What does the Bible say about trusting in human leaders to further the Kingdom? We find out. ...and no, we don't support Hillary either...

In this episode we talk about drinking alcohol and the evangelical stance to completely abstain from touching it. Guess what? That's not very biblical. We discuss the reasons and provide a ton of scripture to back ourselves up, of course.
