The alleged shooter said the volunteer wouldn't leave his property, but that the shooting was an accident. The volunteer claimed she was shot in the back while trying to leave. Michigan State Police said the woman was shot in the shoulder through the front, but are asking for felonious assault charges to be filed against the homeowner.
