Jacob and his family were on the wrong path. They had an allowed false gods and faulty practices to become part of the family. Jacob was called of God and determined to set his family on the right path. We should follow his example in following yard even when it requires us to admit we went the wrong way.

Abraham was a dad in difficult circumstances. First, he raised his nephew as a son and then had a child with his wife’s attendant.  All of that is eclipsed by the fact that he had a child when he was 99 with his wife.  You can choose to live for God, and be the right kind of dead, even when situations are “less than normal”.

Noah raised his sons in a wicked and perverse world.  Sometimes we feel like our world Is the most perverse world that has ever been. In this passage of scripture we will see that the world was so perverse that their minds were only to do evil continually.  Yet, it was in this world I raised three sons, who married three women, who all believed, and followed God.

Matthew chapter 11 teaches that Jesus will carry our burdens, and that we don’t have to rely on our own strength, our own wisdom, our own intelligence, or our own religious works. Listen and learn with us as we explore what Jesus was teaching in Matthew chapter number 11.

The disciples interrupt him and say that his mother and brothers are waiting on him and hopefully he will interrupt his message to speak to them.
