Mandi King (she/her) is a mother of two boys (17 and 12) and a boisterous boxer named Ursa. She has been a yoga practitioner for 17 years and has been teaching yoga for 5 years in Spencer, Iowa as well as online.
Not only does Mandy study the true philosophy of yoga, she is also a social justice advocate. She kickstarted an online group within her community that is meant to be a place to share social justice educational resources. This is also a brave space where individuals can practice using their voice to gain confidence around social justice topics.
Listen in as Mandi + I discuss a wide array of rebellious topics and focus in on how the study of the Yoga Sutras can lend itself to social justice work.
