Sowing with Generosity

Listen Later

Paul encourages us to give our lives intentionally to others for their benefit. What are you sowing into the lives of others? This defines what we will reap. When you willingly give of yourself you will grow richly. The one that withholds for himself finds himself wanting. Instead of being frustrated with what you reap, see what you're sewing. If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly. What you put into a ministry or relationship or opportunity is what you will get out of it. Actively work for good in others’ lives.  The amount of ourselves that we give to another cannot be determined by their worthiness but about the condition of your heart. We can give of ourselves because that is what Christ did for us first. God will empower us to do this if we will agree with Him. God will give to you what you need to give to others. He will increase in us so that we’ll have enough to give to others generously. Do you believe God will do this? God is able and waiting to give to us. But He doesn't give grace abounding for us to keep to ourselves. There is fresh grace every day to give abundantly. We are forfeiting our joy if we climb to what we’ve been given. You will experience joy and abundance as you generously give to others and don't live for only what you can get. God is a good Father. He wants you to experience this abundance. Invest in something greater than yourself. Be willing to sacrifice your life, wants, and desires in order to invest in the kingdom of God. Christ gave up all of Himself so that we may have all things. Ask God for this grace that abounds.
