Space Station Chronicles - Episode 1 - Hope Explored looked at how is was possible to use a SpaceX Starship Space Station to quickly and cheaply get a micro-gravity space station with as much internal space as the ISS.

A block 3 Starship is approximately 66m long, with the space station section starting at around 44m from the bottom.

Most discussion about creating artificial gravity with Starship has focused on some way of tethering two ships together. Maybe using a long cable or some kind of gantry constructed in space.

However, if two Starship dock together at the engine bay end, the crew areas are far enough apart to create and usable gravity when spinning.

Once docked, if the rotate at approximately 2.9 rpm, the gravity outcome at the station end of the ship is:

47m: 0.443 g
50m: 0.472 g
53m: 0.500 g
56m: 0.528 g
59m: 0.557 g
65m: 0.613 g

With this rotation and gravity rates, most people should be able to manage fairly comfortably.

This design is simple. Two Space Station Starships docked together and spinning to get gravity.
