It's been a while, but NYLL is back with a new season. 

Briana Brake from Spaceway Brewing Co. in Rocky Mount, North Carolina kicks off this season. Briana talks with Allison about her brewing company which gives a nod to Afrofuturism. They chat about Afrofuturist creators including Sun Ra, Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu. Briana's also talks about her journey in creating a brewing company that does more than just brew beer.  The Who's that Lady (from History)? is Octavia Butler, a sci-fi author.  Resources:
