Spark Peace with Money this Holiday Season
Happy Holidays! If you're catching this episode when it airs, we're officially into the holiday season. It's a little different this year with the Rona but, I hope, like me, you're determined to make it special.
I'm determined to spread some holiday cheer as well. There are 3 tiny words that really encapsulate the season for me. The first one is Joy. Check out our last episode for how to spark joy with your money this holiday season. Today, I want to explore the second one, which is peace.
When I think of holiday peace, so many Christmas songs pop into my head but especially Silent Night... You know "Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright..." I've heard that if Mary was telling the story, it might not have been so silent... she was giving birth after all.
For me, I'm a big fan of having a peaceful holiday season. Nothing says peaceful to me like sitting in a chair, drinking some hot tea, and looking at the Christmas Tree. Maybe with COVID, this holiday season will be more peaceful in some ways - not so many holiday parties to attend and more nights relaxing with some hot tea...
But there's still a lot of uncertainty about the pandemic, the economy, the country's leadership (as of the recording), maybe too many of us will spend the season worrying and anxious despite the lights sparkling on our trees or from our candles.
What if we could find some peace with our money in the midst of all of it?
