Has there ever been a time in your life where you felt completely lost, down, or overwhelmed by the toxicity in your life? Have you ever stopped to consider that the thoughts you’re thinking are real? That maybe, to lift yourself up, you might need to rearrange the pathways in your brain and focus on accountability? It’s a difficult task and there’s always resistance, but opening yourself up can change your life.
Today, I welcome my friend Rivka, a grandmother, a mother, and a breast cancer survivor. Rivka has spent the past two decades as an executive and personal coach, but I prefer to call her a heart and thought partner. She works to help return and guide people to who they really are.
Rivka talks today a bit about her journey with breast cancer and how the diagnosis completely changed her life. She tells me how real, powerful, and transformative our thoughts are—and why it’s so important not to let them spread negativity.
Tune in and listen to Rivka and me on episode four of Cope and Land. Join us as we discuss her love of radical, radiant self-care, the effect of the ego on our lives, her commitment to life, and what Rivka likes to call “un-therapy.”
In this episode, you will learn:
