Todd McFarlane is one of the founders of Image comics and one of the staples of that brand is Spawn that has surpassed the epic 300 issue mark but way back in 1997 it was hot enough to have a movie created by New Line Cinema. Spawn is remembered as having bad digital effects but after seeing this it is in need of a rewatch by as many people as possible. With great performances by Michael Jai White and John Leguizamo and a comic book movie that feels like a comic book.
