This experience reminds us that life and death are in the power of our words, so we must intentionally speak life over barren situations and refuse to let a death mindset grow alongside our faith. Though the past may have hurt, God uses pain to push us forward, turning wounds into praise as we focus on what He is doing next. Even when the seed takes time to produce fruit, keep exercising your faith, reverse negative declarations, and trust that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what you expect.
