Award-winning author Brandy Colbert talked to Alex at YOUmedia about all things writing, creating and geek out on books and more.  Brandy is the author of middle grade and young adult titles such as The Only Black Girls in Town as well as the upcoming The Voting Booth, in addition to Little & Lion. Brandy also teaches at Hamline University's MFA program in writing for children.
