The day her son was born, Stephanie died.

Premonitions told her it was going to happen, but no one believed her.

One member of the medical team did take her concerns seriously, and made the fateful decision to order extra units of blood and a crash cart “just in case.”

During her delivery, Stephanie suffered a rare Amniotic Fluid Embolism. She went into cardiac arrest and flat-lined for 37 seconds.
