Dr. Roxanne Guy is a true female pioneer in plastic surgery. Her lifelong leadership has broken multiple gender barriers in both general and plastic surgery. She was the first graduating female at Southern Illinois University for both general and plastic surgery. She later went on to become the first female President in 2007 of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) which is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world.
