Speaking of College Costs

Listen Later

Some of the most popular questions about college often relate to how students can pay for their expenses. In this inaugural episode of Speaking of College, Dr. P. discusses college costs with financial aid expert Gilbert Bonafé, Jr.

Gilbert works in the Office of Student Financial Services at Georgetown University. Prior to that, he held roles in two nonprofit organizations, Higher Edge in Connecticut and College Advising Corps in Pennsylvania. Gilbert is exceptional at explaining the complexities of college costs in ways that are simple and easy to understand. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Dickinson College and a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Higher Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

The Did You Know segment focuses on how to earn money while in college and the Ask Dr. P. segment answers a listener's question about choosing elective courses.
