The House Health and Human Services committee discussed HB 1101 and HB 1124 on the morning of Feb 18, 2025. HB 1101 is an Act to repeal provisions related to medical marijuana. It entirely repeals all sections of § 34-20G Medical Cannabis. If that is too extreme Rep Ismay has a counter offer, HB 1124, which only repeals § 34-20G-53 which does not require a person to pay for and possess a registry identification card to assert the medical purpose defense.
