Lamar, his wife and daughter reside in the city of Murfreesboro, TN. Lamar is active in his community. He sits on the appointed Greenway Project Committee for the city and is a member of Rutherford Works with the city Chamber of Commerce. He also sits on the board of directors for a local non-profit and has co-founded an annual scholarship fund (H.O.P.E.) awarding graduating high school seniors’ scholarships. 

Professionally, he works as a Program Manager for Amazon, in Murfreesboro, TN. He leads new engineered projects to prevent workplace incidents helping Amazon strive to be earth’s best employer.

An avid reader, Lamar started a book club in 2020 to promote the importance of literacy and continuous improvement. In his spare time, he enjoys working with youth, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
