Shalonda Thompson is a native of Abbeville, MS.  Her purpose in life is to share her story to empower, encourage, and uplift women all around the world. She is not ashamed to admit that life disappointments and setbacks had her on the verge of giving up because she never knew at the age of 38, she would be diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis and disabled. She will admit,  she didn’t understand and she would often ask the question “Why me Lord?” Through all of her heartaches, pain, and disappointments; she finally realized there was a purpose behind her pain. God is using her to help make someone else’s life better. She says, “Regardless of what has happened in your life, you are not alone. “

In the words of Maya Angelou, “You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, and how you can still come out of it!”- Let the Journey Begin!!!
