It was such a blessing to have Charmaine on my podcast. To listen how God has shown up in her life and led her to where she is today.
"Life sure has a way of keeping you grounded. Looking back & reflecting on this journey called life, I realize that all those challenges were meant to be. The person I am today is grateful for those challenges, all those years of questioning “Why” and being sad, disappointed, discouraged actually had me dip in deeper, dust myself & keep going. And while I had no idea where & how far I could go, it build this resilience & grit in me to be thankful that I was exactly where I was meant to be. I see God’s hand in all of my life events even when I didn’t know it then. Pain is never a great feeling, but through pain it has given a bigger purpose. The “Why” has changed to “Why not”. In this irony of life, if it’s one thing that it’s taught me is this .. Hope is so precious!! And I don’t want to ever loose that .
I have always said “ the grass is never greener on the other side, it’s greener wherever you water it”.
This is my story!! I am a wife, a nurse, a mom of a special needs child who changed our life totally & another young lady who challenges me to do better. I am so thankful for my family, my mom & sister who have been my rock through the tough times. But above all am especially blessed to be loved by God in a special way.
I couldn’t do it without his love, mercy & grace. For that I am eternally grateful & blessed."
Thank you Charmaine for sharing your heart with my listeners today.
