'Stopping was tough, starting again was even harder.' Special Olympics Australia CEO, Corene Strauss shares her heartbreak in having to tell her community to cease all sport back in March. Returning to sport in June created its own set of challenges. Her team developed guidelines for their 14 sports taking on board each state and territories different approach to returning to sport. Corene gives us an insight into the significance of sport to their 7000 participants who each live with an intellectual disability.
