On July 6, 2021 Dutch investigative journalist Peter R. de Vries was seriously wounded in a cowardly gangland shooting in central Amsterdam. At the time of this podcast, de Vries remains in critical condition and is reportedly fighting for his life. In this special episode, Two Steps East host and CEE private detective P. Konrad Smith highlights the continued attacks on European journalists, as well as the allleged cocaine "super cartel" made up of Irish, Bosnian and Moroccan gangs--and the Italian Camorra Mafia--that may well stand behind the recent attempt on de Vries' life.
