On the night of June 12th, 1963, NAACP Field Secretary Medgar Evers was returning home from a mass meeting when he was executed.

60 years later, his daughter Reena Evers can still vividly recall the events of that night. In a conversation with our Desare Frazier, Evers reflects on her life since that fateful night, and the legacy her parents paved in the fight for civil rights.
