Special set for Samba Pagode release on RAFT

Ángel Martínez, aka AN5, is a Spanish DJ based in Barcelona, with more than 8 years in music industry. He was interested in all types of music since a young age until now, creating a big and extensive knowledge in various different styles and genres.

He is known for being a highly versatile artist when in control of the decks, with a great ability to read the dance floor and adapt to it while staying true to his musical styles. His sets blend melodic house and indie dance, introducing deep sounds that take listeners on a journey across the dance floor. Depending on the vibe, he masterfully incorporates afro, deep house, acid, and harder rhythms, creating a unique and exclusive experience.

Regarding his career, he has already performed in various venues and parties such as Macarena Club, Pachá Barcelona, Superfekta Barcelona, M7 Club, Bridge 48, AMEBA & FM Sant Antoni 2024, The Supermercat, Forum Station and Garage 442, among others. He is an occasional resident DJ at some restaurants and lounges of Barcelona.
His proximity to Portugal during his upbringing even led him to perform at a renowned electronic music festival in Porto, the EDP Beach Party 2016, gaining entry through a competition.

When it comes to his productions, he is always committed to creating "music with soul." He draws inspiration from renowned labels such as Innervisions, Isolate, and Sum Over Stories, among others, and from artists like Dixon, Âme, Jimi Jules, and Trikk. His music has already received support from several industry artists and recognition from the press in his hometown.

He also possesses knowledge of design and music production, which greatly enhances his sessions, making them special and leaving his audience always satisfied. He has several productions in the pipeline, which will be released soon.
