Manx Care's hoping to improve its support for victims of domestic abuse.
One of its nurses is training to become the Island's first Independent Domestic Violence Advisor, or IDVA (pron: ID-VA).
Specialist Nurse for Safeguarding Adults, Jane McIlraith (pron: MAC-ILL-RAITH) was selected to do the course over thousands of other applicants across the UK.
