Static, stationed in stone,
Coiled shut like fossils unknown,
Sewn in lies, belying the void
Stuck beyond aphonic tones.
A muted choir convenes,
Mustering a liminal shade.
Threadbare sutures split their seams,
Drooling black into the fade.
Strangled, shadows spill their shade,
And dangle in sublingual shame.
Pitched in death's black-stained breath,
A single frayed spectre remains.
