Speechly, a Helsinki, Finland-based provider of tools for next-gen voice apps, raised €2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Cherry Ventures, with participation from Tiny.vc, Quantum Angels, Seedcamp, Social Starts, Joyance Partners, Juha Paananen and Nicolas Dessaigne.
Founded in 2016 and led by Otto Söderlund, CEO, and Hannes Heikinheimo, CTO, Speechly provides a speech-to-intent spoken language understanding API to build real-time multi-modal interfaces for complex voice-enabled tasks.
Its responsive UI gives feedback to the user the second they start talking and makes voice, vision, touch available in the user interaction context.
