Following a convenience store clerk Dante (Brian O'Halloran) and a video store clerk Randall (Jeff Anderson) the film is a comedic take on the everyday life of a clerk. This is also the debut of legendary characters Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) and paved way for 2 sequels Clerks 2 and the upcoming Clerks 3.
