Join me as we take a closer look at the call of Peter and the call oof Matthew through the lens oof our heart's deep hunger for God.

In this season of Lent, often we focus on the things we surrender, or the difficulties we face. But can we look beyond this and see  the ways Jesus is trying to heal us, lead us, and reveal himself to us?

Often when we live our lives, it's easy to fall into despair or hopelessness as we fail God repeatedly.  But today as we examine the gift of free will, it's significance and implications in our lives, let us turn to God with hopeful hearts as we learn to trust in him, and surrender our hearts slowly to him as we make that choice today and everyday to live in true freedom.

Often in our journey with God, it can be discouraging when we keep falling into the same patterns of sin, and committing the same mistakes, but God calls us to walk with him Joyfully. He wants us to be excited to be with him, and does not ask us to dwell in our shame, so let us not allow our sins to separate us from God, and let us always make that decision to come home to the Father, and experience his embrace.
