In this Spicy Special of Spicy Spectrum, I’m finally talking about something I’ve teased before: raceplay and interracial kink. This is a topic that’s layered, uncomfortable for some, and definitely taboo, but it’s also one that needs real, nuanced conversation.

I share my personal experience as someone who creates interracial fantasy content, and open up about the surprising number of Black men who have confided in me that they enjoy raceplay in private. It’s more common than most people think, and I wanted to offer a perspective that doesn’t often get shared.

We talk about the difference between raceplay vs interracial kink, the role of consent, and how some kinks live in a space that might not match our real-life values. I touch on why some men, including Black men, may be drawn to these fantasies, and how that doesn’t necessarily reflect self-hate or racism — it can be complex, layered, and human.
