On today's podcast ( 2/23) I celebrate my birthday early with some Spike Lee. Lee is one of the most influential Black filmmakers of all time and covers important themes like Racism, and police brutality, and many more. We will be covering the films Do the right thing (1989), Malcolm X (1992), Blackkklansman (2018), and Da 5 Bloods (2020) It was fun looking through Lee's films and seeing how they translate into today's society.
