  • Episode 11- Zoe from the Hill

introducing series 2- This week, we sit down with Zoe, a poet, author & dancer whose life's work is rooted in the community that raised her.

Zoe has been dancing since she was a little girl, and that sense of movement and expression runs through everything she creates, from her poetry to the way she shows up for young people. She works closely with youth in her community, and she shares what it means to give back to the place that shaped her and why she feels so called to do it.

In this conversation, we talk about creativity, belonging, and the power of investing in the next generation. Whether you're a writer, a lover or a fighter or someone wondering how to make a difference where you're from, Zoe's story will leave you inspired.

  • THE GRIND : Finding your Authentic self

From Neurodiversity to Coffee Vans: Finding Your Authentic Self

This week on Spill the Milk, we’re chatting with Gareth , a man who’s taken the idea of doing life on your own terms quite literally.

Through his self-employed work, Gareth supports neurodivergent people and those who have experienced prison, helping them navigate work, build confidence and, most importantly, reconnect with who they really are.

But Gareth’s own journey has also led him to a bit of a midlife realisation, what if you stopped doing what you’re “supposed” to do and started doing what you actually want to do?

So, alongside his work as a coach, Gareth is turning his love of coffee, travel and festivals into something new ,a mobile coffee van, taking him to places he loves and serving up good coffee along the way.

We chat about authenticity, midlife changes, self-employment, finding purpose, helping others find their place in the world… and, of course, coffee. ☕️

Because sometimes the next chapter doesn’t need to make perfect sense to anyone else , it just needs to feel like you.
