Damon Gameau’s 2040 is part documentary, part advertorial for a tech driven, green future. In a world of doom and gloom it offers a welcome reprise. But in parts it becomes reductionist to the point of being problematic. The Spineless crew take a closer look at the various claims made in the movie, discuss the dangers of seeing everything through the rose tinted glasses of liberalism and geek out over gardening.
