We talk about the highs and lows of competing internationally and about the many setbacks and learning curves Ivica - or Veets - has picked up along the way. 

From injuries, a life-threatening head knock and narrowly missing out on making the 2016 Olympics, Ivica has plenty of experience to draw on. 

Having represented New Zealand in competitions around the world, Ivica can now be found coaching the next crop of young talent in Sydney.
