1. From Peter’s sermon at Pentecost, preaching was multiplied by the Spirit through the people of God. It was often not from behind a pulpit. But the Jesus people preached wherever they went. Speak about a time that God used you to proclaim His Word in ordinary ways. (refer to Act 8:1)

2. When we are encouraged to ‘preach,’ what are some usual objections that arise in your heart?

3. Share about a time when you were “cut to the heart” from someone else preaching. What did you do?

4. Peter’s preaching answered the questions that the crowds are asking. What are some of the questions that your friends have? How can you listen more closely to them, and how does Jesus answer them?

5. Make a commitment to preach the gospel in team and pray for opportunities to do so.
