The CPSC and the Spirit Halloween company are recalling Spirit Halloween 48” Black Lights.  The bulbs are defective and may overheat, pop, and flash creating fire and burn hazards.  The model number is LT-B48P with a date code of 2021/06.  About 12,400 of these fixtures were sold during the 2021 Halloween season at Halloween stores and online at spirithalloween.com.  Stop using this fixture and contact Spirit Halloween at 1-866-586-0155 or via the email [email protected] to arrange a refund after sending a photo of the unit’s date code and to receive disposal instructions.
