Based on Mark 10:32-46, Rev. Joe begins with what is on everybody's mind: the Coronavirus. God does not send plagues to punish us, or to test us, but the spirit of today's scripture tells us that if we wish to be great, we must put ourselves in the service of others. During a time of crisis, that means solidarity, cooperation, compassion and love, not panic, indifference, or selfishness.
