1 Samuel 28:1-25. When Saul seeks the Lord, but gets no answer, he resorts to seeking out a medium for guidance. Samuel’s spirit comes forth to foretell Saul’s tragic end in battle. Saul’s downfall and pitiful end is a sober warning for us all to keep our hearts tender before God each day.
