  • Gone with the Win(d)chester - Ep62

We can't help ourselves with a little pun here and there. After a few months, we finally made it back to the Princes of Hell. Since we've discussed Azazel, this one is about Ramiel, Dagon, and Asmodeus. Pour yourself a 'Prince of Hell' cocktail and tune in for more puns.

PRINCE OF HELL COCKTAIL ... ingredients: 1.5 ounces rum, 1 ounce cranberry juice, 1 ounces of pineapple juice, and 2 ounces of lemon lime soda. TO MAKE: Add ice to a glass then add rum and juices. Top with lemon lime soda.

MOCKTAIL: Omit the rum and mix the juices with soda. That's it. ;)

  • Our Little Demon Thing - Ep61

Happy Halloween, everyone! In this one, Dawn and Jenny are discussing several sins... Seven to be exact plus two extra bad demons, Abraxas and Samhain. Mix up your own 7 Deadly Sins cocktail and enjoy another episode of S&S.

SEVEN DEADLY SINS COCKTAIL - ingredients: Angry Orchard hard cider, Angel's Envy Bourbon, edible luster dust, a tasty treat like a sandwich cookie or cream filled cake, and a bunch of accessories (gold coins, a sloth, and a hand mirror). TO MAKE IT - pour 0.5 ounces to 1.5 ounces (to taste) in a glass of Angry Orchard hard cider. Add a dash of edible luster dust and garnish with the other stuff.

MOCKTAIL - Sparkling apple juice or plain apple cider will replace the hard cider. Try adding a splash of green tea for envy. And there you have it!

  • Zero Minutes - Ep 60

Another fifteen episodes means it's time for reflecting. Not on ourselves, of course. We're looking at season four of Supernatural to choose our top three favorite episodes. We brought along two friends of the podcast as well, Jenn and Theresa.

For this episodes cocktail you get to choose from the last fifteen episodes of S&S. Our choices: Russian Blue Moon form ep 51 "Angelic Eyes", the Meg from ep 54 "Serious and Intimidating", the Reaper from ep 52 "My Favorite Reaper", and a Golden Age from Family Business Beer Co.

  • Salt & Pepper -Ep59

We couldn't continue talking about demons without talking about one of the first, Cain. There's a lot of lore to unpack in this one so we brought along two familiar guests, our BFFs, Theresa and Jenn. Settle in with a Hot Toddy and tune in for another chitchat on Spirits & Supernatural.

COCKTAIL: HOT TODDY ... Ingredients: hot tea or apple cider, 1 ounce of whiskey, and honey to taste.

To make: brew a cup of tea, pour in a shot of whiskey, and add honey to your preference.

MOCKTAIL: Skip the whiskey. Maybe add corn juice (iykyk)?

  • Just for Shiggles - Ep58

One of the greatest parts of the Supernatural Family is meeting talented people. Dawn & Jenny sat down with two friends and authors to talk about their books. Pour yourself a Page Turner cocktail and prepare for some giggles!

Authors' websites: Andrea Hurtt and Jenn Currie DeFouw

PAGE TURNER COCKTAIL ... ingredients: 2 ounces of gin, 1 ounce of elderflower liqueur (St Germain is an option), 0.5 ounce lemon juice, 0.5 ounce of simple syrup (optional), and fresh mint for garnish. 1-2 ounces of Prosecco to top.

To Make: Put it all in a shaker except mint and Prosecco. Pour over ice and top with mint and Prosecco. Enjoy!

MOCKTAIL: Substitute juniper water for gin and elderflower syrup for liqueur. Use sparkling water or juice in place of the Prosecco.

  • Greasy Salesman - Ep57

As we discuss all things demon we couldn't miss talking about ol' Yellow Eyes himself, Azazel. Was he a scheming, greasy salesman or a mastermind with a master plan? Join us for another episode, this time with a new guest, Bekah! Shake up a whiskey sour and sit back for some speculation.

WHISKEY SOUR COCKTAIL - 2.5 ounces Irish Whiskey (we used Jameson), 2 ounces of Sweet & Sour mix, 1 egg white.

TO MAKE: Add all the ingredients to a shaker with ice and give a good shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a glass, and admire the foam you've created. Drop a couple drips of red food coloring to pay homage to Azazel's plan... if you desire.

MOCKTAIL - Replace the whiskey for nonalcoholic whiskey substitute OR try making a tea concentrate. The rest of the ingredients are the same. TO MAKE - add everything to a dry shaker and shake without ice for 10-15 seconds. Then add ice and shake for another 10-15 seconds. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

  • Pretty Dicey - Ep56

What would you do for a deal? That's the question of this episode as we discuss Crossroads Demons. There are quite a few throughout the show and the help lay a lot of groundwork for plot points. We hope you like this one so enjoy a Devil's Kiss, if you dare.

DEVIL'S KISS COCKTAIL - ingredients: 2 ounces vodka (citrus if you want), 4 ounces of cranberry pomegranate juice, and a splash of Amaretto.

To Make: put it all in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Serve in a martini glass.

MOCKTAIL - It's mostly just the cranberry pomegranate juice. Optionally, add an amaretto syrup if you'd like and splash of lemon juice.

  • Life be Lifin' - Ep55

Sometimes in life, the right person shows up at just the right time. Ruby was occasionally the right person, but she was a demon. In this episode, we're discussing the first version of Ruby seen in Season 3 of Supernatural. Join us and guest Lindsay for a drink and a chat!

RUBY COCKTAIL - 1.5 ounces of citrus vodka, .75 ounces of St. Germain, 0.5 ounces of Aperol, .75-1.0 ounces of ruby grapefruit or blood orange juice.

To make it, add everything to a shaker with ice. Shake for about 15 seconds to get it all cold and blended. Pour into a glass.

MOCKTAIL - Orange or grapefruit juice with elderflower syrup. You can try a nonalcoholic vodka or aperitif if you'd like.

  • Serious and Intimidating - Ep54

And now we begin our descent in the demons of Supernatural. We start off with Meg, the first demon that the boys met. In this episode we discuss Meg as played by Nicki Aycox in season one (and briefly in season four). Mix up a smooth and stealthy beverage for this one, folks!

"The Meg" Cocktail or whatever it ends up being called....

1 ounce each of spiced rum, Rumchata, and Kahlua shaken with ice. Prep your glass with a cinnamon sugar rim and some ice. Pour the shaken rums over ice and there ya go.

MOCKTAIL - An iced dirty chai perhaps? Substitute milk or heavy cream for the Rumchata, coffee or espresso for the Kahlua, and a spicy tea for the spiced rum. Can be served warm or cold. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if you're feeling a little extra spicy.

  • Could've Been Worse - Ep53

To have an apocalypse you'll need some horsemen. We didn't get any for this episode, but we did get four whiskeys and talk about the Horsemen from season 5 of Supernatural. Pour yourself this cocktail if you dare, and enjoy another great episode!

    THE FOUR HORSEMEN COCKTAIL

Ingredients: Johnnie Walker, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, and Jameson. -- To make this one, pour 0.5-0.75 ounces of each whiskey into a shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into a glass. Add ice and a mixer (we used ginger ale).

MOCKTAIL -- We found this one difficult to mock. You can try mixed four juices, sodas, or teas.
