In this episode, which originally aired in radio format on December 16th, 2021, I share my  conversation with religion scholar and alchemical artist, Avi Lipton. His "Elixir Quest" painting is pictured here. Avi talks about spiritual alchemy and how it applies to his artwork and to the experience of being (truly) alive and getting back to Essence. He holds a PhD in Religious Studies from UNC and is also a practicing Sufi, so I ask him to share some of what he knows about Islam, too.
