The place of prayer and the Word is constantly being challenged by other legitimate things in our lives. The apostles clearly stated that they will not neglect the Word and prayer to attend to tables. We are reminded of the need to prioritise building our spiritual life so we can withstand the challenges of life by the Spirit.
