Today's spiritual discipline is the toughest one for me. I don't like silence or being alone with only my thoughts. This is something I need to work on. When Christians create silence they place themselves in a space to hear the gentle whisper of God. They can become aware of their own selves before the Creator of the universe without being attached to others or our own devices. We can gain clarity and perspective that is needed in this time and place.
