Psalm 24:1 says the world belongs to the Lord, “and they that dwell therein.” That means people belong to God: our neighbors, coworkers, family members, strangers, difficult people, and even ourselves.
In this video, we start with how we treat others, then bring the message inward. If people belong to God, we cannot treat them like they are ours to dismiss, use, ignore, control, or mishandle. And if we belong to God too, then our bodies, minds, voices, gifts, time, testimonies, and callings must be surrendered to Him.
Scriptures: Psalm 24:1, Genesis 1:27, Matthew 22:37-39, Luke 10:25-37, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Romans 12:1
Topics: love your neighbor, Christian relationships, biblical stewardship, identity in Christ, people belong to God, surrender to God
