In our 7th episode of Season 2, we talk with Dr. Christine Catipon (IG: @dr.christinecatipon).
Dr. Christine Catipon, who goes by she/they/siya, is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked in university counseling centers in California for the past twelve years. She currently works full-time in Counseling and Psychological Services at Stanford University and has a part-time private teletherapy practice. She is the current Vice President for the Asian American Psychological Association (AAPA) and has held numerous leadership positions within the Filipinx American community. Dr. Catipon is a frequent speaker and panelist on Filipinx American mental health and she was most recently featured in the Los Angeles Times, on PBS NewsHour, and as a panelist at the 2022 San Diego Comic Con. Her professional areas of interest include AAPI social justice, LGBTQ+ identity, and intersectionality. In her spare time, she enjoys karaoke, mahjong and other board games, playing with her dog, and being a foodie.
