In an event co-presented by LitQuake, Don Lattin, author of The Harvard Psychedelic Experiment, moderates a discussion with three Jewish authors who have written about their spiritual journeys. Sylvia Boorstein has taught Buddhist meditation since 1985, co-founded the organization Spirit Rock, and is the author of 5 books including her most recent, Happiness is an Inside Job. Dani Shapiro is a novelist whose new memoir, Devotion, has become a best-seller. And KQED Forum host Michael Krasny, English professor at San Francisco State and author of the memoir Off Mike, has a new book out entitled Spiritual Envy: An Agnostic’s Quest.
