Back in May, we began to lament together racial injustice in our country in the wake of the death of Ahmaud Arbery. As we have seen more atrocities since, we want to continue to lament and cry out for justice on behalf of those that were unjustly killed, such as George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and many more. In this guided prayer, let us lament together, cry out, and ask God to intervene and to guide us as a church as we stand with the marginalized and hurting.
