Listen Later

Spiritual travail, Pastor Byers explains, is the deep burden of the Spirit that produces new life in others, much like natural childbirth. True ministry is not performance or activity but the birthing of Christ in others through prayer, tears, and intercession. Pastor Byers warns that many churches avoid travail because it is costly, uncomfortable, and misunderstood. Yet it is the engine of revival, transformation, and spiritual breakthrough. Travail is the means by which spiritual children are born and believers are brought to maturity. Day Six believers must enter this ministry if they are to bring others into the fullness of Christ. Travail is the heart of God expressed through His people.
