Did you pause to remember today that you are living in the middle of a cosmic war? It is true - the devil has declared war against the glory of God, and that results in him declaring war against all Christians. That means you are a strategic target of the enemy. Christians need to exercise faith in the Kingdom truths concerning spiritual warfare. We do not have a choice about whether or not we will take part in spiritual warfare. We only have a choice as to whether we will be proactive or passive. Scripture tells us much about how to defend against the forces of spiritual darkness. We are also informed about how to live in a proactive offense against Satan and his demonic army. We are empowered by God's truth as we adopt His perspective on the victory that he has granted us through the blood of Jesus, the Word of God and the active gifts of Holy Spirit. The outcome has been finalized: we have already won. But we have to wage warfare to receive the victory that we have been promised.
