Every human journey, whether we are aware of it or not, carries a spiritual dimension. In our energetic essence, we resemble a vast ocean wave. Much of the time, we assume a degree of individual control over our course, whether crashing against the sand or the rocks. Yet, a deeper understanding reveals our inherent connection to the vast ocean, a recognition that "self" is ultimately an illusion. As humans, however, we learn throughout life that this constructed "self" retains the capacity for growth. Through this growth, the experience of "crashing against the rocks" can become more gentle, even joyful.
