Friends, deceit, denial, and pretending are so poisonous. They are poisonous to our relationships with God, to our relationships with each other, and in our relationship with our selves. Deceitfulness always poisons the blessings God has brought to our lives. Today in our story in Acts, God makes a dramatic point about how much truth and honesty matter to him and to the health of all our relationships.
